The launching was part of activities to mark Tinubu’s first anniversary as Nigeria’s president.

The president also virtually inaugurated the design and procurement phases for the Sokoto-Badagry and Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja highways.

Commending the Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, and stakeholders like Hitech Construction Company, President Tinubu underscored the project’s significance in job creation, economic empowerment, and national development.

Tinubu equally added that the vision extended beyond infrastructure. He said the highway was a symbol of hope and unity, connecting communities and paving the way for prosperity.
