Super Eagles star striker and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, has alleged that Coach Finidi George turned down his offer to camp with his teammates despite his injury.

In a passionate response posted on his Instagram handle, Osimhen addressed the controversy surrounding his absence and interactions with Finidi George.

“I asked him if I could join my teammates so that I can speak with them, even if I wasn’t playing. He asked me to go see my family. I have lost respect for him,” Osimhen stated, expressing his disappointment with the former coach’s response.

The visibly angered striker also directed strong language towards his detractors, stating, “Make God punish all of una wey una dey talk rubbish. Eni ku ire!”

Osimhen clarified the circumstances surrounding his absence, particularly citing an injury sustained during a match against Lecce.
