Finidi Turned Down My Offer To Visit Eagles In Camp – Osimhen

Super Eagles star striker and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, has alleged that Coach Finidi George turned down his offer to camp with his teammates despite his injury.

In a passionate response posted on his Instagram handle, Osimhen addressed the controversy surrounding his absence and interactions with Finidi George.

“I asked him if I could join my teammates so that I can speak with them, even if I wasn’t playing. He asked me to go see my family. I have lost respect for him,” Osimhen stated, expressing his disappointment with the former coach’s response.

The visibly angered striker also directed strong language towards his detractors, stating, “Make God punish all of una wey una dey talk rubbish. Eni ku ire!”

Osimhen clarified the circumstances surrounding his absence, particularly citing an injury sustained during a match against Lecce.

“I got injured in our last match against Lecce with an ankle injury at the last minute.

“Immediately, I went to Germany to seek medical attention for my child. I did an MRI because I knew something like this would happen. I have the video and the picture,” Osimhen explained, asserting his transparency by promising to provide evidence to support his claims.

He also revealed that he taped his conversation with George, “While I was talking to the doctor, I called Finidi immediately. I asked a friend to record it on video as the doctor and I spoke with Finidi.

“I am not addressing anything. Let everyone believe whatever they want about me. Everybody knows that when I play, whether for club or country, I play my heart out.”

Asserting his stance against disrespect, Osimhen declared firmly, “I won’t allow any disrespect from anyone because I respect people before I disrespect anyone. I won’t allow anyone to do anything that will stain my name.

“I don’t care if what Finidi said was true or not. I will post the video and screenshots.

“No one in this life can tell me how to live my life. Nobody! I am a grown man.”
