A joint security team comprising the Lagos State Police Command, the Marine Police and the Navy has successfully rescued three brothers, Abbas Fouani, Youssef Fouani, and Amtal Fouani, who were abducted on June 14 while returning from their electronics factory by boat in Lagos.
The Fouani family runs highly popular Ltd, electronics stores in Lagos and they are major distributors of Hisense, and Maxi products.
Confirming the rescue, Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, said,
“They were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo.
“Our marine police, supported by the Nigerian Navy, brought them safely ashore.
“Our tactical team ensured they were swiftly returned home to Banana Island in the early hours of today.”
The abduction had sparked a frantic search effort by law enforcement, with reassurances from Hundeyin earlier in the week that efforts were ongoing
