Miracle Water: Prophet Fufeyin Sues VeryDarkMan for N1bn

Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, has taken legal action against VeryDarkMan, a well-known activist and social media critic.

The lawsuit, which demands N1 billion in damages, has sparked a heated debate about the legitimacy of Fufeyin’s miracle products, which include soap, water, and perfume.

The conflict began when VeryDarkMan, a popular social media influencer who has a significant following online, criticized Prophet Fufeyin’s miracle products.

On Thursday, he released a video that quickly went viral.

In the video, VeryDarkMan revealed that Fufeyin had served him a lawsuit and a restraining order, accusing him of defamation and demanding he cease all further criticism.

VeryDarkMan, known for his outspoken views on various issues, responded defiantly. “Pastor Jeremiah has sued me with N1 billion and told me not to speak about him again. I am going to court with 700 blind people, 36 women seeking children, and 800 deaf individuals. They should use their healing products on them before the judge,” he declared in his video.

Prophet Fufeyin  launched his line of miracle products in June. These products include a specially marketed soap, water, and perfume, which he claims have healing properties.

Fufeyin assured his followers that his miracle soap has been approved by NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control), Nigeria’s regulatory body for food and drugs.

VeryDarkMan, however, was skeptical of these claims. He challenged Fufeyin to reveal the ingredients of the soap and threatened to petition NAFDAC to investigate how the product was approved.

“I will send a petition to NAFDAC to tell me the basis on which they approved the soap for Nigerians to buy from this pastor,” VeryDarkMan stated.

He argued that NAFDAC’s approval process should be transparent about what the products contain and how they are supposed to work.

The dispute escalated when VeryDarkMan decided to publicly test the miracle products. He purchased the items directly from Fufeyin and distributed them to a community of people with disabilities in Abuja.

This public demonstration was intended to verify Fufeyin’s claims about his miracle products.

In a video from the testing event, VeryDarkMan distributed the miracle water to the physically challenged individuals, who were asked to drink it as part of the test.

As the day progressed, there were no visible signs of healing or miraculous changes, contrary to the claims made by Fufeyin.

VeryDarkMan documented the lack of results and used this to further criticize the prophet’s claims.

The public test drew considerable attention and generated a lot of buzz online.

In an effort to defend his reputation and counter the negative publicity, Prophet Fufeyin posted a video on his official Facebook page on August 9.

In this video, several church members shared their personal testimonies about the miracle water, claiming that it had significantly improved their health, finances, and overall well-being.

Despite these testimonials, the video did not go uncontested. Many viewers questioned the authenticity of the claims and criticized Fufeyin’s statements.
