Alex Iwobi Notches Win for Fulham with Stunning Goal Against Leicester City

Nigerian international Alex Iwobi was the hero for Fulham on Saturday, scoring the decisive goal in a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at Craven Cottage. Iwobi’s goal in the 70th minute secured Fulham’s first Premier League win of the season.

Although Fulham took the lead early in the game,  Adama Traore played a crucial role in the 18th minute, delivering a precise pass to Emile Smith Rowe, who scored with a superb shot into the right side of the net.

Leicester City equalized in the 38th minute through Wout Faes, who headed the ball into the net from a corner kick. Despite Leicester’s equalizer, Fulham remained determined to regain their advantage.

The decisive moment came in the 70th minute. Fulham’s Antonee Robinson set up Alex Iwobi with a perfectly timed pass in the box. Iwobi made no mistake, finishing calmly into the left side of the net.

His goal proved to be the match-winner, delighting the home fans and securing three crucial points for Fulham.
