64th Independence Day: Tinubu to Address Nation Today

President Bola Tinubu is set to address Nigerians on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in a nationwide broadcast marking the country’s 64th Independence Day.

The broadcast is scheduled to air at 7:00 am and will be part of the activities lined up to celebrate the nation’s independence.

The announcement was made on Monday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

In a statement titled ‘October 1st 2024 Independence Day: President Tinubu addresses the nation,’ Onanuga encouraged television, radio stations, and other electronic media to tune into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for live coverage of the President’s speech.
